Leaders Weekend 2025

Over the weekend of 21st to 23rd February 2025, adults from the county's Squirrel, Beaver, Cub, Scout, Explorer, and Network Teams gathered for a leaders' weekend at the PGL (formally Kingwood) Adventure Centre in Ashford.

Friday evening began with a Disco-themed quiz that was well-received. The rest of the evening was spent socialising, catching up with old friends, and making new connections.

Saturday morning started with breakfast, followed by a day of activities. We split into groups for fencing, Jacob's Ladder, Problem-Solving Team Games, and the 3G Swing.

Many participants tried fencing for the first time, learning the basics of this sport. Jacob's Ladder which was challenging and the renowned 3G Swing that many people eagerly anticipated bringing a mix of fear and excitement.

As the day wound down, Saturday evening featured a Scout-related bingo. Each entry was drawn by a different person from each table, ensuring laughter and fun, followed by optional karaoke with some well known songs.

On Sunday morning, after breakfast, we gathered by section for Taskmaster-style challenges. The event concluded around midday, leaving everyone with great memories as they headed home.

Overall, it was a fantastic weekend, and a great time was had by all!
